R3 Government Solutions, LLC HR Senior Consultant in Washington, District Of Columbia
**Job Overview R3 Government Solutions (R3) provides human resources operations services, human capital consulting, and custom training to federal clients. This position is part of an R3 team that supports Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in workforce staffing and structuring reviews.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Support the FEMA in documenting current and proposed position allocations, staffing configurations, organizational structures, and workloads, with a particular focus on work products produced in Microsoft Visio.
- Collect and review relevant documentation and available data
- Engage in effective communication with Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHO) employees, customers and other stakeholders across FEMA
*Qualifications *
- Bachelors degree
- Five years of experience executing human capital management efforts requiring meticulous attention to detail - preferably in the federal environment
- Ability to deal with unstructured, complex programs that will require effective communication and negotiation skills in order to define and gain agreement on appropriate actions
- Ability to adjust, drive results and execute in a fast-paced environment despite changes in scope or deliverables
- Advanced fluency in utilizing Microsoft tools including Microsoft Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Synthesizes observations and data to create conclusions and make recommendations for customers, approving authorities, and/or leadership
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience at multiple levels within an organization through various formats such as presentations, charts, spreadsheets, written proposals, reports, correspondence, leading meetings, face-to-face dialogue, etc.
- Ability to enter data, complete spreadsheets, and identify discrepancies among various databases, spreadsheets, and documents
- Ability to review documents, charts, and other visuals for completeness and uniformity.
- Exceptionally strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and client relationship skills
- Must be organized and able to work independently and deliver against tight time lines
- Must be able to collaborate closely with other project team members and work effectively with various levels of the business community
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands and timelines, including the flexibility to persevere when up against deadlines
- Ability to move toward a common vision or goal
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and visual information to provide summarized findings
