Responsibilities of the Front of House Shift Manager include: Run shifts with customers at the core Execute the staffing plan for the day Run breaks as appropriate Perform needed food safety and quality checks Completes cleaning and breakdown tasks as outlined Maintains integrity of cash and follows all cash handling policies Solves problems in the moment Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating smoothly Adjusts to challenges Identifies teachable moments and provides redirection and coaching as appropriate Uses resources to prevent additional problems from arising Creates the environment Promotes and atmosphere if engagement and pride in creating happy memories for all partners and guests Encourages teamwork and motivates partners on shift to navigate change and achieve goals Focus the team on creating moments of connection Sets the tone for the shift by building rapport with partners and displaying a positive attitude Experience: 2-3 years of closely related management experience, working in a high-volume environment Comprehensive understanding of point of sale systems, coffee equipment, and food preparation Proficient ability to manage staff as large as 8 partners Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Must have excellent communication and customer service skills Requires the ability to lift and or move up to 40lbs Ability to work as a part of a team Effective oral and interpersonal skills Benefits from working at Puro Gusto: Competitive salary (Base wage rate, plus tips each week, average weekly hourly rate of >$24 per hour) Paid Time Off (Starts to accrue immediately) Flex time off (Up to 32hrs paid time off per year) 401K + match Health Care Coverage (Dental, Medical, Vision all available) A vast library of personal and professional growth podcasts, web-training, and e-learning opportunities Food and beverage discounts (Free shift meal) Flexible scheduling Referral bonus Perks at Work retail discounts [cl1] [IB2] [IB3] Transportation stipend program A guarantee of fair and equitable treatment
