Job Description - FMB requires individuals with Navy business process expertise who can understand the end to end process, help identify problem areas, understand the nonfinancial side of datasets and help to address systemic issues so we can effectively perform budget execution (i.e. obligation) validation efforts. The ideal candidate would have experience within the following processes: Internal Controls, Financial Reporting, Government Accounting, Asset Valuation, Audit NFR Remediation, Controls and Risk Assessment

Security Clearance –Position requires Secret clearance upon application.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Must be a CPA

Education/Certification and Experience Required:

Minimum 4+ year Bachelor’s degree in Business, or other related field from accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 or more years of relevant work experience in an office administration / management assistant environment – OR – 2 year Associate degree in business or a related field and 10 years relevant work experience in an office administration / management assistant environment

The FA shall be computer literate, knowledgeable in accounting practices and be proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. FA shall have the ability to learn and utilize Government and commercial databases. The FA shall provide financial accounting support, along with administrative and clerical support, to the construction management and design team.
