Job Title: Field Service Technician $35+HR (Plus Overtime!)

Job Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be entrusted with the essential duties and responsibilities of installing and commissioning conveyor equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical components. You will ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the installation and maintenance of conveyor systems. You will communicate project status, risks, and issues to the project manager and internal teams. Your role also involves collaboration with other departments such as engineering, sales, and customer service to ensure project success. Furthermore, maintaining accurate project documentation and reports is a critical aspect of the role. Occasionally, other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Port Clinton, Ohio and some days remote.

Work Environment

In the role of Field Service Technician, you will regularly interact with moving mechanical parts. You will be stationed at various facilities, where you are required to follow all EH&S requirements set by the respective facility. Safety is a priority in our work environment. As part of your job, you will be expected to travel 100% of the time. We are seeking a skilled Conveyor Field Installation Technician to install, commission, and maintain our conveyor systems on-site. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical and electrical installation, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record in installing conveyor equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all on-site installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
