Aerotek Facilities Technician in Washington, District Of Columbia

Description:

MUST HAVE:

1) General plumbing – changing out shower heads/sink and drain etc.

2) General carpentry – using tools to repair beds/doors

3) General electrical – replacing lamps/bulbs/tracing electrical lines

4) General HVAC – monitoring HVAC system, cleaning vents in rooms, troubleshooting issues (beyond is external HVAC contractors.)

5) Tech savy – ipads, email/computer, motorized blinds (techs will get specific training from Aramark in July)

SHould Have:

6+ months of building maintenance experience within apartment complexes or hotels

Ability to lift 50+ lbs on daily basis

Ability to demonstrate communication skills including: written, verbal, email, etc.

Customer Service/Customer facing experience in previous roles

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of work including the preventative maintenance and assistance in repair of building and grounds in assigned areas.
