System One Event Planner - Project Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

ALTA IT is looking for a strong Corporate Events Planner and Project Manager. This project will take a year to start and will start working on planning an 800-person event in October 2025. This remote role requires someone in the eastern or central time zones.

Qualifications The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent in Event Planning, Outreach, Marketing, or a related discipline, and the following: Strong organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently. Strong project management skills. Ability to develop and manage project plans, keeping events and staff on budget, on time, and accountable. Ability to modify current in-person events (content and technology) to facilitate remote participation. Familiarity with managing a budget. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce. Knowledge of meeting planning tools, such as CVENT and Eventbrite. Knowledge of online meeting technologies, such as Webex and Teams. Ability to work independently and collaborate across groups. Ability to work remotely, as needed. Positive attitude, strong initiative, friendly and engaging personality. Strong writing skills.
