Job Description Summary:

D&G is seeking an Enterprise Architect to assist the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office (CWMD) to lead DHS counter-WMD efforts and coordinate with domestic and international partners to safeguard the United States against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) and health security threats.

The Enterprise Architect will be a member of a team providing an ongoing program of analysis to support decisions regarding approaches to fill current and future capability gaps through risk assessments, gap analysis, and CBRN architecture development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform mission pathway/mapping analysis and decomposition considering CBRN threats

  • Perform capability analysis for systems and architectures and represent these systems and architectures in a visual and written form.

  • Apply architectural framework methodology to support development of DoDAF viewpoints and models

  • Support capability assessment studies, gap analysis, and risk assessments

  • Support activities to trace program requirements to CBRN architecture.

  • Support annual program technical reviews and programming, planning, budgeting and execution process

  • Participate in program management working sessions and support program managers in executing day-to-day systems engineering activities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 4-6 years of systems engineering or architecture experience

  • 3-5 years experience working in various types of sub domains

  • 3-5 years experience in system mapping and producing multiple viewpoints

  • 3-5 years experience using Cameo

  • 3-5 years experience working with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and/or Unified Architecture Framework (UAF).

  • 3-5 years experience reading and interpreting government policy, regulations, and directives, with the ability to apply those interpretations fully and legally.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Additional Requirements:

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Ability to support multiple projects, implement initiative management principles, business process development, business re-engineering, and strategic business projects.

  • Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives, and to apply those interpretations to all PWS activities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

  • Experience assessing Chemical, Biological, or Radiological/Nuclear detection systems, threats, and/or related policies.

  • Experience working with CWMD, Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), or DHS.

Location:

  • Hybrid- Two days per pay period (two weeks). The CWMD Office is located at the Saint Elizabeth’s Campus, 2703 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE, Washington, DC 20593
