SAIC Cybersecurity Project Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia
SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager in Washington DC. This is in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) cybersecurity mission to ensure HHS can actively protect the vital health information with which it is entrusted, respond to existing and emerging cybersecurity threats, and continue to enhance the program to ensure HHS has the capability and capacity to respond to new and emerging requirements, technologies and threats.
The Cybersecurity Project Analyst is part of the contract's Project Management Services team providing management, administration, and support to cyber security projects.
Dutiesand responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Managethe execution, implementation, and maintenance of cybersecurity projects ofvarying scope and size.
Ensuremanaged projects are completed successfully within negotiated parameters toinclude technical implementation and associated documentation objectives.
Developand maintain project-specific artifacts per EPLC tailoring plans such asproject management plans, charters, scope documents, etc. using standardizedEPLC designated templates.
Reviewengineering and development project documentation and approaches and assist theGovernment in assuring project outcomes comply with statutory, federal, andAgency guidance and policies.
Communicatecurrent project status to stakeholders in a variety of forums.
Coordinatewith personnel internal and external to the program at multiple levels toachieve project objectives.
Prepareand update project-related documentation as required.
Participatein contract and customer strategic planning activities, when required.
RequiredExperience : 5 or more years of relevant project management and cybersecurity experience.
CertificationRequirement : PMP preferred. Industry-standard cybersecurity certification, e.g. Security+, CISSP, CISM, HCISPP, CAP desired.
EducationRequirement : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
ClearanceRequirement : Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
