Description

We are looking for a diligent Bookkeeper to join our team in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, 20005-2225, United States. This role involves managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment where your skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, and QuickBooks will be fully utilized.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions

• Update and maintain the general ledger

• Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system

• Recording of debits and credits

• Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers

• Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions

• Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements

• Monitor any variances from the projected budget

• Manage the invoice process

• Ensure timely processing of payroll.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role is required.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is essential.

• Experience in managing both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations is needed.

• Prior experience in bookkeeping is required.

• Proficiency in data entry is a must.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Experience in managing month-end close activities is necessary.

• Prior experience in payroll management is needed.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks is required.
