HOGAN LOVELLS US LLP Appellate Specialist in WASHINGTON, District Of Columbia
- Cite check, Bluebook, proofread, and prepare tables for briefs, motions, and other filings drafted by Appellate practice area lawyers.
- Prepare routine or procedural motions and documents.
- Prepare and assemble PDFs of both public and confidential appellate documents, including voluminous joint appendices.
- Electronically file briefs, motions, appendices, and other documents in courts via PACER/ACMS, the U.S. Supreme Court filing system, and various state docket programs and oversee preparation and service of necessary printed copies.
- Use PACER, PacerPro, and various state online court docket programs to retrieve case docket and document information.
- Assist lawyers with oral argument preparations, including creating case information binders.
- Assist lawyers in joining the bars of various federal courts and obtaining pro hac vice status in various state courts.
- Coordinate with Clerks Offices as requested by Appellate lawyers.
