Job Title: Team Lead - Interactive Graphics and Multimedia Development

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interactive Graphics and Multimedia Development professional to lead a team of graphic designers creating a state-of-the-art interactive graphic and multimedia products for DIA's Executive Production and Dissemination (EPD) Office. We are seeking a visionary Team Lead responsible for spearheading the creation of state-of-the-art interactive graphic and multimedia products that adheres to IC published standards. Working for the DIA's Executive Production and Dissemination (EPD) Office is interesting because it involves overseeing the strategic dissemination of intelligence products critical for decision-making at the highest levels of national security.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of graphics developers/designers in the production of interactive graphics, video content, and analytic product templates that support high-visibility intelligence products

  • Collaborating with analysts to translate requirements into compelling graphic and multimedia services to accurately clarify, supplement, or complement DIA's intelligence assessments for customers

  • Providing expert graphic design and layout solutions, including developing illustrations, editing images, managing fonts, and applying advanced pre-publication techniques. Integrate graphics with text, audio, and video to create immersive and interactive multimedia experiences

  • Ensuring all products produced complies with DIA established standards published within the DIA Style Manual

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain and hold a TS/SCI with polygraph

  • Master's degree in an area related to graphics development and design

  • Additional experience may substitute for education

  • 12+ years of experience in graphics development and design, with a portion of experience within the last 2 years

  • A portfolio that illustrates expertise in graphic design, interactive graphics, and multimedia content creation

  • Expert level expertise using professional graphics and design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, XD and Audition), Maya, MAPublisher, and Microsoft Office Suite)

  • Expert level expertise creating interactive graphics using HTML, CSS, Java Script, d3.js, leaflet.js, Angular, and Typescript, among other modern web languages and tools

    Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours

  • Work is to be performed onsite in Washington, DC
