Amazon Sr. Salesforce Engineer, Kuiper Business Development in Washington Dc, District Of Columbia

Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you will require working with leaders from multiple technology areas. We want someone who has relentlessly high standards for themselves and for everyone they work with, and be constantly looking for ways to improve the business performance. We want individuals who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.

We are looking for high caliber senior level Salesforce Engineer to be a part of a project with strategic significance and high exposure. In this role you will lead the definition and development of the the sales lifecycle process and deal management system. You will apply both business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, ambiguous and innovative environment.

Key job responsibilities

In this role you will work with commercial revenue operations, business development, marketing and engineering teams to enable end to end automation of the sales lifecycle. You will be developing functionalities on sales force CRM, CPQ, Mulesoft and industry clouds and integrate workflows with various 1P and 3P systems.

  • Own all aspects of architecture, end to end design, development, security, design/development best practices, integration and deployment (CI/CD), release architecture and automation regression testing

  • Build solutions in Salesforce CRM, CPQ, Mulesoft and Industry Clouds

  • Provide expertise and recommendation on when to use configuration vs. code vs off-the- shelf products

  • Support cross systems integrations across native Salesforce eco system, as well as other cloud technologies including AWS. Integrate with various 1P (Data lakes, Amazon Approvals) and 3P (Conga, Marketo etc) systems

  • Partner with product owners to deliver tailored solutions that support business requirements, create a superlative user experience, and drive tangible business value.

  • Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions that best use the Salesforce platform and products.

  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce.com in innovative ways to improve existing business processes, and support an organization scaling at a rapid pace.

  • Function as tech lead on projects being implemented by external consultants

About the team

The Commercial Revenue Operations (CRO) team is responsible for driving business strategy, adoption, product strategy and operations for Kuiper's commercial business

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.

  • 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.

  • 3+ years experience with systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).

  • 3+ years experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python.

  • Experience of integrating salesforce with various 1P and 3P systems.

  • Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology.

  • Salesforce Developer or Architect certifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of database systems and SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
