SUMMARY Responsible for cleaning and dumping springs into correct boxes for final shipment. Assists with shipping/receiving/cleaning duties as necessary. Other duties may be assigned. * Load buckets off production floor onto conveyor - dump springs into correct box for shipment * Make boxes * Sweep and mop floors in plant * General clean-up of all plant equipment * Clean and rinse tanks * Carry out and replace trash can liners * Assist on coiling floor by checking and dumping tubs of springs * Assist in unloading reels of wire from trucks as needed * Assist in preparing shipment of finished goods and loading springs onto truck as needed * Track inventory for cartons, plastic bags and skids QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic Math Skills. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
