Summary:

 This position is responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing optimal, cost-effective manufacturing standards, routings processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Conduct material flow analysis. Conduct time and motion studies. Perform data analysis to support capacity and head count requirements. Work with other departments to develop production standards. Update and revise production BOM, Router to reflect accurate standards. Generate work instructions and SOP's. Support implementation of production routers and shop floor control. Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams. Support error proofing initiatives. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Support new program implementation and existing program changes. Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949. Policies and Procedures. Perform all other related duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements

: Bachelor's degree in engineering in the field of Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronics. Minimum five (5) years of experience in manufacturing and/or the automotive industry preferred. Must have problem-solving and analytical skills with knowledge of Six Sigma methodology. Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical processes strongly preferred. Excellent organizational and technical writing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
