Position Summary

CDM is a key member of Commercial team Poland with a focus on driving strategic initiatives in category and channels strategies. Responsible for generating category & shopper insights on batteries, flashlights and auto care products and supporting the company goals with target-oriented presentations and management reports. Furthermore, support on the annual visibility programs and new product launching plans - aligned with marketing & key account - to achieve the market share, distribution, sales and margin targets. This position will directly report to senior manager category development, DACH & Poland.

Responsibilities

  • Developing the annual Category & Channel Development plan, aligning with Marketing & Sales based on international /regional guidelines to achieve market shares, distribution, sales and margin targets.

  • Setting up category guidelines, targets and KPIs to meet and maximize result.

  • On-going analysis and monitoring of main market competitors.

  • Constant generation of new category insights as well as leveraging the existing ones.

  • Managing Market Share by product, channel, customer, area using Nielsen, Focus Online, POS data and other available data.

  • Hosting correct and full key market panel data for Poland (batteries, flashlights and auto care products) via Nielsen Answers

  • Collaborate with external customer as well as internal stakeholder like Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain team to drive initiatives. Regular status meetings with local sales and international category development.

What we are looking for

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in any related disciplines ( MBA would be plus )

  • At least 4-6 years working experience in FMCG or similar industry preferred

  • Required to have 2-3 years of Category Management experience in any sizeable FMCG company

  • Preferable to have 2-3 years of relevant experience in commercial or commercial planning area, including Sales planning and Brand Management

  • Experienced over cross-functional team participation

Technical skills:

  • Fluent English is a must (frequent interaction with International stake holder)

  • Proficient knowledge of channel management, market analysis using POS and Nielsen data

  • Negotiation skills – internally and externally

  • Commercial delivery - result oriented

  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
