Job Description Summary

Develops and leads the rewards strategies, policies and processes to drive growth of people, business and impact for Eastern and Southern Europe countries (include Israel, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania and others) focus on delivering competitive Total Rewards programs that attract and motivate employees aligned to our business needs.

This is an individual contributor role requiring total rewards partnering and operational excellence reporting to the Regional Total Rewards Leader-International

The role can be performed out of Warsaw, Krakow or Budapest in a hybrid pattern.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Eastern and Southern Europe HR Leader to build Total Rewards strategies that support the business initiatives, diagnosing business challenges, exploring alternative solutions and recommending solutions with the business growth and expansion strategy and needs of the organization.

  • Analyzes compensation and benefits programs and develops plans to implement those which support business goals and objectives, are geographically appropriate, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

  • Drive process improvement and deployment of best practices for optimizing the use of HR tools, drive HR process optimization, standardization, and innovation.

  • Monitor industry and external market and provide analysis on the impact of relevant developments in the compensation and benefits areas.

  • Partner with HR and management teams in support of Union matters, headcount budget cost management, competitive benchmarking and structuring of new hire and promotion offers.

  • Ensure execution of policies and procedures related to pay practices.

  • Participate and lead International Regional Total Rewards projects.

  • Collaborate horizontally with Total Rewards Business Partners on all compensation related matters.

  • Create and deliver training to HR, managers, and employees on compensation philosophy and processes, and to employees on executive benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience

  • Experience designing and implementing new programs/practices across multiple European countries (Eastern and Southern Europe).

  • Familiarity with pay transparency and / or pay equity matters.

  • Experienced Total Rewards Leaders with solid expertise on European compensation and benefits and labor union matters.

  • Ability to influence, understand and manage diversity as it relates to total rewards (cultural, nationality, religion, gender, other)

  • Experience in operating effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward-looking mindset.

Desired Characteristics

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; strong analytical and process skills

  • Strong team-building skills, proven ability to engage as a horizontal team player

  • Experience in the Life Sciences, Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industries

  • Union experiences will be an added advantage

  • HR Technology/operations experience

  • Workday experience
