The right candidate will have strong technical skills and have a passion for driving technical solutions that ensure quality of products. Responsibilities:

  • Designs automated tests based on software design and internal structure of an application.

  • Designs, builds and improves test infrastructure and automation framework.

  • Develops test tools to enable Software Quality Assurance team to analyze results and execute tests efficiently.

  • Designs quality assurance and test processes for end-user applications and systems

  • Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application.

  • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.

  • Represents the Software Quality Assurance team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.

Education and Experience:

  • At least Bachelor's/Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics or similar, Master's degree preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Test Automation area

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency with Python programming

  • Experience and/or strong understanding of IoT principles

  • Experience with applications that interface with USB and Bluetooth connected devices

  • Software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience with design for software and firmware running on multiple platform types

  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
