Citigroup L3 Windows Servers Administrator in Warsaw, Poland

The team is based in Warsaw and is part of a global Level 3 support for Citi Servers worldwide. We provide support to the corporate part of Citi financial services – the most exciting and challenging business in the finance industry. Daily we provide support for over 25 000 servers located in every region, with full variety of OS installed (2016, 2019).

The L3 Windows Servers Administrator is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting with various administration activities, including network maintenance, technical guidance, and security in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. The overall objective is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and lead complex projects across all sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction in area of infrastructure technology specialization to support platforms (including HA Solutions) and sectors.

  • Apply the discipline of engineering to deliver critical platform support and optimize platform/sector functionality.

  • Fully understand, support, and define platform and areas supported to minimize risks and impact to customers.

  • Review issues and escalations, as well as resolve production problems, ensuring that status and technical matters are reported to management in a timely manner.

  • Utilize skillset to provide support, troubleshooting and performance-tuning within technical domain.

  • Support the creation and implementation of system improvements that will improve performance and reliability while maintaining controls.

  • Based on PowerShell & Ansible creation of automation solutions.

Skills / Experience Levels:

  • You have proven experience in Windows 2012/2016/2019 Systems administration.

  • You have strong communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in high stress situations.

  • You enjoy learning and love sharing your knowledge with others.

  • You have a positive attitude with the drive to get the work done.

  • You enjoy collaborating with others and working as part of a cross discipline team.

  • You’re a self-starter with good problem-solving skills, and you continuously look for ways to improve things.

  • You understand the importance of prioritization of your work.

  • You have base experience in scripting and creating automation solution in PowerShell or Ansible.
