Citigroup Junior Asset Servicing Analyst in Warsaw, Poland

The Asset Servicing Analyst is requiring a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate and timely booking and maintenance of security set ups within Multifonds linked with maker/ checker responsibilities;

  • Process reviewing in terms of unification of controls and suggesting improvements to reduce manual work and enhance efficiencies within a team;

  • Performing control functions in an automatization process of security set ups throughout testing stage, introduction and control;

  • Providing training sessions for new employees, guidance and oversight of this process;

  • Build working relationships with Valuation, Trade Control and Corporate Actions teams through the development of a high performance environment;

  • Understanding of all business connections and relations between teams/divisions within an end-to-end process;

  • Timely answering to standard and most of the non-standard queries related to duties performed, adhering to high standards of business correspondence;

  • Identifying and reporting of any gaps and risks in a process followed by the single-handed preparation and implementation of solutions eliminating these gaps;

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of Bloomberg and Multifonds will be an asset

  • Individuals at this level exhibit basic executional capabilities and are beginning to take on more responsibility

  • Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Fixed Income, Money Market Instruments, Derivatives and Asset Backed securities

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

  • Proven success as a team player
