Job Description Summary

The Technology and Global Services (TGS) Validation & Compliance Master Data and Configuration Governance Analyst role is primarily responsible for the coordination with master data governance teams and M&A acquisitions to ensure data integrity. The role will support integration and harmonization of configuration metadata with other master data management (MDM) governance teams across the organization to support the development of enhanced data management guidance for the enterprise. This individual will work with the IT Validation and Compliance Team and stakeholders to ensure configuration data in the repositories is accurate and reference data is managed correctly. The role includes working with the Computer System Validation (CSV) Global Process Owner (GPO) to manage periodic compliance reviews with the business owners of the systems in the configuration management database (CMDB).

Job Description

This role is remote and can be based from anywhere in Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide compliance guidance to the MDM teams across the organization.

  • Act as the primary liaison between the validation & compliance organization and the data management teams in BD.

  • Ensure MDM repositories and processes adhere to the organization’s compliance requirements.

  • Provide guidance to facilitate the maturity of the data management discipline within BD.

  • Assimilate the Periodic review process across all systems identified in the CMDB, working with CSV GPO to conduct the reviews with the Business owners.

  • Work with business owners of the respective systems to track any required remediation as an outcome of periodic reviews of systems.

  • Provides direction related to validation topics to project teams as required.

  • Authors and approves appropriate software development life cycle (SDLC) documentation as needed to assist project teams in the development of software in a compliant manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Decision Systems or a related field is required

  • 5+ years of experience in a health science industry (preferably Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device industries)

  • In-depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape of Medicinal products and a strong understanding of reference and metadata management.

  • Knowledge of data protection and cybersecurity requirements in regulated industries

  • Experience in data modeling and data structure analysis

  • Data taxonomy and ontology expertise is a plus

  • Project management experience a plus

  • Ability to communicate complex business / technical challenges in a simplified manner

  • Experience in influencing without authority is a critical skill for this position

  • Experience in strategy consulting is a major plus
