What You Can Expect

Sr Manufacturing Systems Engineer, (Partially Remote)

The Senior IT Business Systems Analyst for Manufacturing Operations Management works with global operations partners and IT stakeholders to identify and define needs/issues, document requirements, lead small - medium projects and/or participate in larger scale implementations, and solve complex problems, providing recommendations with fact-based analysis.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Liaison between global operations users and IT - make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

  • Delivers and escalates key updates to stakeholders for global manufacturing applications

  • Provide ongoing application support to ensure stable and secure operations.

  • Conducts application diagnostic root cause analysis on critical outage support activities. Analyze data to trouble-shoot issues, collaborate with vendors to develop and implement solutions.

  • Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure technology, application, and information assets are protected.

  • Support Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) digital transformation IT/IS solution implementation and automation roadmap

  • Consult with, document and translate stakeholder processes and requirements into IT/IS requirements. Determines and develops imaginative, thorough, and scalable design solution, and delivers successful on time solutions

  • Write technical procedures and revise as needed

  • Leads ITIL application change management control for IT MOM applications

  • Lead small to medium size projects (difficult and complex at times)

  • Provide direction and basic coaching/mentorship to junior team members and non-employee resources

  • Drive Incident management and priority 1 root cause analysis with support teams

  • Deliver on key automation initiative projects for the Warsaw

  • Proficient in Siemens Camstar/Opcenter application, designer, portal studio, and CIO/MIO

  • Proficient use of Microsoft 365 standard applications

  • Proficient understanding Agile methodology preferred

Your Background

  • Bachelor Degree and 4+ years relevant experience OR Bachelor and Master’s Degree with 2+ years relevant experience required

  • ITIL Certification preferred

  • Digital Transformation Certificate preferred

  • Understanding of SDLC

  • 2+ years experience with Siemens Camstar required

  • 1+ years experience with system validation testing preferred

  • Project Management experience preferred

Travel Expectations

Up to 30%. Expected to be able to be on-site in Warsaw, Indiana minimum of three days per working week.
