Your Impact:

The mission of the Lone Wolf program is to support, operate, and maintain the Distributed Continuity Integrated Network – Top Secret Enterprise Services (DCIN-TS ES) which is a DoD-provided, TS/SCI, integrated voice, video, and data, global communications network that facilitates collaboration among senior leaders and key staff. The Lone Wolf program boasts a professional workforce comprised of specialists throughout the Information Technology lifecycle and who contribute to a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the customer in developing comprehensive requirement documents to support mission needs.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams to oversee project management initiatives.

  • Analyze new and complex engineering project-related problems and create innovative solutions involving finance, scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components.

  • Act as the single point of contact for engineering project requests, queries, and needs-related communications in support of the customer mission.

  • Provide application systems analysis and programming activities for a government site, facility, or multiple locations.

  • Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities as well as necessary support resources.

  • Draft briefings and talking points for meetings with interdisciplinary engineering teams, interagency participants, critical infrastructure protection, mission assurance, and defense support to civil authorities and other mission spaces.

  • Obtain photos, facility layouts, building floor plans, and applicable drawings associated with site locations.

  • Demonstrate technical knowledge in areas of enterprise network devices and services, major IT support systems – voice IP systems, video teleconferencing, MS Enterprise -AD/DFS/Print services, SAN storage subsystems, and computer hardware and software support.

  • Demonstrate technical familiarity with WAN/LAN topology, services, and terminology.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification.

  • 10 years of relevant IT engineering project management experience.

  • B.S./B.A. in IT related field

  • Experience supporting Agile and Waterfall project management methods.

  • Understanding of DoD acquisition regulations.

  • Proven working knowledge of IT infrastructure.

  • Proven experience in recommending solutions that improve customer satisfaction and/or the mission of the customer

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Expert use of MS Visio and Project and proficient use of MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • Experience using Remedy or ServiceNow IT ticket systems.

  • Ability to travel (about 10-25%) primarily throughout the National Capital Region; Other travel locations may be required as well.

  • May be required to work beyond typical work times to include on-call, recall, and/or standby.

Preferred:

  • Practical understanding of Microsoft Enterprise services and solutions for on premise environments.

  • ITIL certification

  • Knowledge of ITSM
