ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Portfolio Management Responsible for strategy and implementation of current portfolio. Working with the product group Director, Editorial Director, Acquisitions Editor, Content Strategist and editors, define new features, media, content, enhancements and product areas and implement those. Drives successful tradeoffs that affect cost, schedule, users, and how well the product works throughout the product life cycle. Provides product leadership from introduction through obsolescence, evaluates new technologies, articulates issues, and makes clear recommendations. Makes product positioning recommendations to management and counterparts. Develop business requirements for new product and enhancements/expansion to existing products; work with Marketing Research on functional specifications and feature/function prioritization Executes digital strategy across business segments to optimize digital experience, leveraging design thinking and other best practices. Monitors business results of recently introduced or existing digital experiences, coordinates reporting, and effectively recommends modifications to improve results. Monitors the marketplace to assess digital experience trends and results in order to recommend new digital experiences or enhancements to existing experiences. Prioritizes recommendations and enhancements. Develops and designs the features of new or existing digital experiences to take advantage of an identified market need or opportunity in conjunction with relevant business units. Manages the development, production, roll-out or promotion of digital experiences. Partners with key cross-functional BUs including Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance, Content Management and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure all digital experiences meet their strategic goals. Participates in product-specific marketing initiatives. Supports business, financial, and customer experience results of digital experiences and effectively recommends modifications in experiences and/or marketing to improve results. Identify and communicate potential risks of development updates and new and existing products. Analyzing competitive intelligence regarding product pricing and implementing pricing strategies across the product portfolio. New Product Development Develop business cases for new product development, including SaaS products and services for consideration in the portfolio management process Utilizes Agile methodology in product development. Monitor development and communicate as needed in Jira. Monitors the marketplace to assess product, technology, and markets trends to identify a market need or opportunity. Recommend innovative new products, new experiences or enhancements to existing products and develops and designs the features of a designated new or existing products Manages the end-to-end development, production, roll-out, pricing or promotion of specific products, product groups or experiences and resolves complex operational and process problems that arise. Partnering with third-party stakeholders to develop new product offerings. Continually reviews product usage data and maintains an ongoing dialog with customers and internal stakeholders, particularly sales, on trends, risks and opportunities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience in managing products Agile software experience User experience-centered (UX) product development experience Exceptional presentation skills Enthusiasm for developing global products for mobility industries and adjacent markets Financial acumen: ability to consume, create and interpret P&Ls Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Superior budgeting, evaluative, and problem-solving skills Exceptional oral and written communication skills Proficiency in working within a multitude of back-end systems Requires strong diplomacy skills to dri e alignment between competing business needs and objectives. MS Office proficient Travel to 30% to meet with customers, users, attend trade shows and conferences Individual product budget and revenue responsibility for $10M+ revenue plus year-over-year growth rate of 6% or greater.
