Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal workers to work in Warren, MN. From: 03/17/2024 - 11/01/2024. Work: 48 hours/week. Overtime: In Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/10/2024 Job Duties: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery. Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions. Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Irrigate soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps. Crops: Canola, Corn, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower Job Requirements: Three(3) Months Experience, Criminal Background check, Drug screen Be able to lift 60 lbs., Extensive sitting and walking Employer Assurances: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with the date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
