General Motors Senior Analyst in Warren, Michigan

Job Description

This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to [ Cole Engineering Center, Warren MI ] three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business

GM Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) markets automotive parts worldwide for GM and non-GM vehicles through GM dealers, ACDelco warehouse distributors, and consumer-related outlets such as auto parts and general discount stores. Customer Care Aftersales is the only business unit that supports the vehicle for its entire lifecycle. Customer Care Aftersales Strategy and Planning provides analytics, data and business intelligence to all functions within Customer Care Aftersales.

  • Customer Care Aftersales Strategy and Planning provides analytics, data and business intelligence to all functions within Customer Care Aftersales (Sales, Product, Finance, Supply Chain)

  • Support development of strategies for Customer Care Aftersales business partners by identifying business opportunities and developing data-driven, actionable solutions

  • Perform a range of analytical work including creating easily consumable data insights, writing code, generating models, creating and scheduling processes, and producing reports and visualizations

  • Wrangle big data, identify and resolve data integrity issues, and produce custom data sets

  • Deliver data-driven insights and ‘tell the story’ that enables strategic and operational decisions

  • Develop self-service tools (utilizing PowerBI, Tableau or other tools) as needed to support the development and implementation of CCA strategy across functions

  • Ability to create scheduled procedures and workflows to support ongoing reporting and analysis.

This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required (Preferred in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Decision Science, Data Analytics or related

  • Minimum of 4 years experience within analytics

  • Big Data Tools such as Hadoop, Hue, Databricks and KNIME

  • Programming languages such as HQL and Python is a Plus

  • SQL Experience Required

  • Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools including Power BI/Tableau, Excel

  • Statistical methods such as regression, probability analysis, risk analysis, statistical process control, and clustering

  • Preferred experience in Customer Care and Aftersales (Customer Care Aftersales), GM or Automotive aftermarket

  • Skilled in collaboration, project management, priority setting, and alignment of project priorities with business strategy
