Waltonen CAD Detailer - Creo in Warren, Michigan
Waltonen Engineering is seeking an Entry CAD Detailer to join our team!
Responsibilities
Report to Waltonen Design Leader
Utilize Creo to complete part drawings including the creation of detailed drawings
Establish design for new products and improvements to parts
Complete design calculations within predefined design standards
Make drawing revisions to reflect how tools have been modified
Collaborate with designers and engineers on project requirements
Qualifications
Exposure to a 3D CAD software
Intermediate mechanical drafting skills
Ability to solve complex problems
Oral and written communication skills
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with superiors, peers, and subordinates
Individual time management skills
Mechanical Aptitude
Ability to work a full-time schedule including overtime hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Vehicle Design, Product Development or related degree
Experience with Creo software
Familiarity with Teamcenter is a plus
Understanding of materials and their usage and various manufacturing operations and processes
Comprehensive math background
