KBR is seeking highly motivated Test Engineer in Warner Robins, GA

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Designs and develops highly complex test programs, processes, and systems to measure the functionality and integrity of products and services. May lead the design, building and operation of test stations (as applicable). Writes highly complex test procedures and protocols to assess product reliability and evaluates the ability of products to meet performance standards and specifications associated to MIL-STD-461. Monitors the gathering of test data and may supervise the evaluation of test results to determine if product designs and architecture meets customer specifications and performance requirements with respect to MIL-STD-461. Develops highly complex test simulations to evaluate how products react under different test environments and analyzes test results to assess the integrity and reliability of product performance. Defines debug protocols for test hardware and software. Manages test and laboratory equipment, coordinating with outside vendors for repair and/or calibration when necessary. Analyzes test cases and scenarios and reports results. Collaborates with other engineering groups to improve or upgrade product performance. Advises internal engineering teams on electromagnetic design considerations to ensure product integrity. May provide technical consultation to other organizations and internal/external customers. Provides technical guidance and direction to more junior test engineers and lab technicians.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related technical disciplines or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with electromagnetic disciplines to include EMI/EMC analysis and modeling, product qualification tests and test techniques.

  • 8+ years of experience in a progressively complex engineering related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in EMI/EMC requirements, analysis, design, and applicable test experience.

  • Candidate must possess or be able to attain a U.S. Secret Clearance.
