We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Full Stack Developer with a primary focus on backend development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and/or Rust, and a passion for building robust and scalable backend systems. Familiarity with big data tools and a desire to work on cutting-edge technologies are highly desirable. Additionally, experience or familiarity with DevSecOps processes is considered a significant advantage.

What you will do...

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the development team to design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs.

  • Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code in Python, C/C++, and/or Rust.

  • Ensure the seamless integration of backend components with the overall system architecture.

  • Work with databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.

  • Optimize database queries and implement data storage solutions.

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and high-performance backend systems.

  • Utilize big data tools to process and analyze large datasets.

  • Implement solutions for handling and managing big data efficiently.

  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.

  • Write unit tests and conduct testing to identify and fix bugs.

  • Demonstrate familiarity with DevSecOps processes and contribute to the integration of security practices into the development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Seek mentorship within the organization to learn more about the mission and data scenarios.

Skills you will need...

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4 Years of relevant expereince.

  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Python, C/C++, and/or Rust.

  • Solid understanding of backend development concepts and technologies.

  • Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks is a significant advantage.

  • Experience or familiarity with DevSecOps processes is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn quickly.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
