Arbutus BioPharma Inc. is seeking a Senior Scientist, Immunology for its Warminster, Pennsylvania office.

Job Duties: Lead a laboratory-based project in the discovery of novel immunotherapeutic agents for the treatment of HBV. Design, execute and perform laboratory experiments in support of primary compound screening, lead optimization programs, and mechanism of action studies. Execute complex immunology experiments including isolation of immune cells, T cell proliferation assays, stimulation assays, multi-color flow cytometry, cytokine profiling, luciferase, Luminex and ELISAs. Deliver on research goals/objectives and meet corporate timelines. Develop and record Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Document procedures and results in laboratory notebooks and digital lab management systems, in accordance with appropriate SOPs. Provide input for improvement and optimization of experimental protocols and interpretation of results.

Minimum Requirements: PhD or foreign equivalent degree in Microbiology, Immunology, or a related field. Education or experience in Immune cell isolation; T cell stimulation assays; Multi-color flow cytometry; and Cytokine profiling.
