Standard shift hours for this position are: 9:55 PM - 6:05 AM (Sunday night - Friday morning). Shift assignment could change based on business needs or training requirements. Scheduled overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned as needed): Operate and troubleshoot production machinery. Cross training over multiple processes is typical. Produce products to specifications within established time periods. Perform required testing including visual inspection, for each product following established procedures. Complete all production and process paperwork accurately & timely. Stage material. Load & Unload processes. Complete housekeeping tasks by end of shift (6S). Provide direction & training to others in operating the equipment. Meet established safety & quality standards by adhering to procedures. Qualifications: 3 - 5 years production or machine operating experience preferred. Experience in extrusion, plastics, or lamination a plus. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Mathematical (basic add, subtract, divide, decimals, percentages), reading, & writing skills. Take accurate measurements with testing devices, record, and assess quality. Conduct basic troubleshooting to set-up and dial-in process to produce conforming materials. Ability to work with computer devices to control & monitor processes and enter and report data/information. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to operate lift trucks; cranes; hoists; Big Joe's, etc. Must be a team player; strong communications skills, take initiative, follow through with tasks/projects; attention to detail; have a genuine interest in learning the processes and driving continuous improvement. Availability to work overtime, as needed. Ability to operate cranes; hoists; Big Joe's, etc. Ability to read and follow all specifications and procedures. Interpersonal skills (teamwork, motivation/commitment, flexibility, effective use of time).
