We are looking for a bilingual individual with experience in presale support activities who has the ability to identify customer product needs and who can conduct feasibility and performance studies.  The best candidate will have excellent customer services skills, quoting and estimating abilities, and be capable of forging strong interdepartmental relationships.

Job Location: Ivyland, PA - Middle Bucks County

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:    Review RFQ's, Specifications, Contracts, and Special Customer requirements   Coordinate with internal departments, outside contractors, and approval agencies   Prepare and submit bid documents   Provide complete technical and commercial support to Regional Sales Managers, FCD representatives, FCD distributors, and direct customers   Provide Application Engineering Expertise in Special Applications (i.e. conceptual design of special configurations, evaluation of existing designs, basic modification of existing designs, etc.)   Represent FCD in customer meetings and coordinate commercial and technical negotiations.   Provide Senior Project Management Support when required (i.e. significant projects, projects requiring special testing and inspections, or projects requiring special handling and documentation)   Utilize regular opportunities to continue education of self, as well as, coworkers (i.e. seminars, college or university courses, internal cross training, author technical papers, mentoring, etc.)   Responsible for small, medium, and large projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline

Minimum Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required   2 to 4 years of technical support experience required   Must be fluent in English and Spanish   Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role---continuing to develop specialized knowledge   Experience in water treatment, oil/gas, and/or petrochemical industries preferred   Ability to troubleshoot and support customer's requests   International technical sales support experience, preferred   Makes significant contribution to their team by applying their knowledge of the discipline   Ability to moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus
