We have an incredible opportunity for you to join our team at the TownePlace Suites and Rosebrook Event Center, Wareham, MA.

We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled individual to fill the role of Hotel Maintenance Technician. This is a Full-Time position with comprehensive benefits. Flexibility is offered during weekdays, but availability on weekends is a must!

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's building, grounds, and equipment. Your responsibilities will also include the maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems. Pay: $22-$27 Per Hour

Schedule: Full-Time, with weekend availability on Fri.-Sun.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prioritize and schedule assignments by reviewing maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders.

  • Utilize your skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and equipment to the best of your ability.

  • Identify current and potential needs by inspecting the property.

  • Develop and implement ongoing maintenance programs.

  • Evaluate proposals from contractors, select the most suitable ones, and ensure that work is completed according to specifications.

  • Collaborate with local health, safety, fire, and building inspectors to ensure compliance with codes and regulations.

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Take care of the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.

  • Maintain the building's exterior, if not serviced by a contractor (e.g., lawn care, painting).

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of all hotel common areas, both interior and exterior (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.).

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting and servicing up to his/her ability.

  • Skill in maintaining and repairing security hardware.

  • Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.

  • Pool testing certification preferred not required
