Kelly Services Quality Control (QC) Inspector in Walton, Kentucky

Kelly Science and Clinical has an exciting opportunity for a 2nd shift QC Inspector located in Walton, KY! The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a strong quality mindset.

Details:

  • Hours: 3pm-11:30pm M-F

  • Compensation: $17/hr

  • Temp to Hire

Job Summary:

Uses a variety of techniques and inspection methods to determine if a product meets quality standards. Methods may include visual inspections, measurements and functional testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Determines acceptability, condition and physical tests of product raw material disposition of finished goods

  • Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet specs in terms of dimension, color and physical appearance

  • Ensures systems are in place and functioning for quality and integrity of raw materials, in-process, and finished-product in accordance with standards and specifications

  • Ensure cGMP and quality practices are performed in operations

  • Performs in-coming material and in-process line checks

  • Use problem solving skills to provide viable solutions

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime when needed

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of QC inspector experience preferred

  • Detail and Quality Oriented

  • Ability to follow written procedures

  • Must possess the ability to work independently as well as with others

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime when needed

  • Must have an understanding of Quality System functions, Process Control, SPC, and Labeling Control.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 5-20 pounds frequently

  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds infrequently

  • Reach and lift overhead

  • Crouch and lift from floor level

  • Operate a pallet jack

  • Work in temperatures between 50 F to 85 F

  • Must have close distance, color, and peripheral vision abilities along with depth perception

  • PPE Required: Chemical resistant glasses/goggles, gloves, apron, sleeves Smock, shoe covers, dust mask
