Eastern Industrial Automation Warehouse Supervisor in Waltham, Massachusetts

An international Industrial Distributor of power transmissions, pneumatics, hydraulics, motion control parts and systems (bearings, bearing chains, sprockets, electric motors, variable speed drives, lubrication parts, etc.) is seeking a highly motivated professional individual to be a leader at our warehouse located at our new flagship office in Waltham, MA.  Enjoy the benefits of an office located at the Waverley Oaks business complex, where you have access to walking trails, restaurants, gym/athletic facilities, and a brewery!

We are seeking an individual who can work well independently, is a leader, is open to growth opportunities, and also thrives as a team member. You are the right candidate if you are focused on continuous improvement and take pride in your work. DOT and HAZMAT certifications are NOT required.

Responsibilities:

  • This position assists in managing day-to-day warehouse activities to including; shipping, receiving, inventory control and data entry, etc

  • Sales for quoting projects and fulfilling requests for in and outgoing deliveries

  • Ensure warehouse employee(s) follow compliance with safety measures and quality control standards; communicating policies, procedures and job expectations; and providing training, general leadership and direction

  • Scheduling transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments as required

  • Shipping - organize and prepare product for safe shipping, interact with dispatch for scheduled delivery, load shipments in an efficient manner

  • Receiving- unload, inspect, inventory, and store all incoming items safely and efficiently

  • Contacting salesmen and customers on a timely basis to disseminate all delivery paperwork, receipt of product, and work through any issues or damage

  • Regularly inspect equipment to ensure safety

  • Manage and order supplies for all packing materials and other materials as needed
