Wolters Kluwer Technology Implementation Consultant - Product Configuration in Waltham, Massachusetts

Location : This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in office and three days per week working from home. Qualified candidates must live in commuting-distance of one of our health offices - Madison, WI , Philadelphia, PA , or Waltham, MA office locations.

Basic Function

This is a role within our Health division Implementation group supporting our Drug Diversion application. This role is responsible for configuring our software as part of our 13 week implementation process.

The successful incumbent will understand how to transform and configure healthcare data from our customers into our software. In addition, their technical aptitude and ability to understand how to resolve customer issues will directly lead to satisfied customers and business success. This is a customer-facing position, so great interpersonal and communication skills are a must.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Transforming customer-specific data, including customer-specific terminology, formularies, and nomenclature, into the Flowlytics software.

  • Consolidating data from multiple different customer systems, including Wholesaler purchasing information, Internal Inventory Systems, Automated Dispensing Cabinets, Electronic Medical Records, Retail Pharmacy systems, and other healthcare IT systems.

  • Manage the process for taking a new customer project from the phase of ‘data received and loaded’ to ‘go live’ by

  • Analyzing the output of our software to validate results

  • Understanding customer’s workflows and confirming our software is properly configured for those workflows

  • Adding needed master data to our database to support the above items

  • Training lead users in how to validate the data as part of the implementation

  • Provide feedback to Product Management for software enhancement ideas

  • Assist in the development of team processes and procedures to increase efficiency

  • Ensure proper functionality during implementation, including data validation testing, initial troubleshooting, communicating with customer-users, and resolving issues where possible

  • Maintain critical documentation for both internal knowledge sharing and making references available to customer-users

  • Understanding of Flowlytics software capabilities in detail

Other Duties

  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

Required Experience:

-2+ years database experience (Experience with SQL is required, MS Access and/or Oracle is a plus)

-Experience working in a client-facing role

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

  • Strong team player but still a self-starter

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to maintain positive working relationships

  • Developing proficiency with current technologies

  • Preferred prior experience with healthcare analytics utilizing data from multiple healthcare IT systems

Travel requirements

Minimal travel may be required for company gatherings
