Job Description

The Technical Services Logistic Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shipping/receiving as well as additional logistic duties for facility moves and ensuring asset inventory management accuracy.

DUTIES

  • Oversee shipping and receiving activities, including laptop/hardware receipt and delivery as well as management of asset documentation for all incoming/outgoing equipment globally.

  • Maintains ownership of tracking returning equipment and responsible for the coordination of all returns.

  • Manages international outgoing and incoming equipment packing and shipping process, incorporating FedEx, USPS, and UPS where required.

  • Works closely with Technical Services to maintain department schedule to ensure commitments are met on time.

  • Manages the inventory of computer equipment for all locations and handles purchasing to maintain proper stocking levels.

  • Assists with barcode scanning input and tracking systems for all locations to ITSM system.

  • Handles all shipping vendor relations and troubleshooting calls.

  • Generate reports on shipping, including monthly shipping/receiving costs and identifies potential saving opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of international logistics and experience with properly completing necessary documentation for customs globally.

  • Knowledge of current postal regulations.

  • Good communication and analytical skills; ability to pay attention to details.

  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to employees, vendors, and others involved in the service delivery function.

  • Professional demeanor in dealing with vendors and employees.

  • Flexibility and ability to work as a team player. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

DOE, annual salary is $76 - 95K plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401k, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience, education and location.
