Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Executive Assistant in Waltham, MA or Carlsbad, CA. Support our executives in coordinating and communicating with employees, clients, vendors, and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide impeccable administrative support to our executives, ensuring flawless coordination of their calendars, handling travel arrangements, and organizing meetings and events.

  • Review and process expense reports.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documents, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Handle confidential and critical information with the utmost professionalism and discretion.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and information flow.

  • Lead and prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrating exceptional project management and organizational skills.

  • Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making processes.

  • Serve as a primary contact for both internal and external parties, demonstrating strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Support the successful implementation of special projects, demonstrating a proactive and bold approach.

Requirements:

  • Confirmed experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.

  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle critical information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Comfortable working across different time zones, regions, and diverse teams.

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required. Associate's degree in Secretarial Science, Business, or related field preferred.

  • 10+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment with recent experience supporting executives in a corporate environment preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $31.73–$47.60.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
