The PCT is responsible for observing and interpreting patient monitoring devices under the direction of the RN. Documents all pertinent information and notifies nursing staff of changes or abnormalities. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by the hospital. The PCT also serves as the unit\'s medical clerk.
