People * Customers * Trust Individuals hired as a General Labor Associates for our box plant in Wallula will be hired and trained to work in either the corrugator and/or converting department. The successful candidates will join our highly-ranked team and learn about our business, culture and expectations. The hourly rates vary based on department and position ranging from $25.80 to $31.05. Sets up converting and/or corrugator accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques. Inspects all material before and after run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run. Monitors box quality, including, but not limited to, loose liner, warp, correct size, and print. Check rolls for damage. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed. Assist others within the crew with job duties on the machine. Complete necessary data entry and reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data, Quality Data. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Submit maintenance work orders through BPMS for needed repairs. Complete annual food packaging safety training. Report any discovered food packaging safety risks or concerns. Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/GED. Demonstrated consistent, one-year stable work history. Strong verbal communication skills.
