Trinity Solar Structural Engineer in Wall Township, New Jersey

Trinity Solar is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Wall, NJ. This is a fast-paced, structured process environment, and the ideal candidate should be comfortable working under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously with an emphasis on project safety, cost, quality and reliability. Roles & Responsibilities Develop photovoltaic structural engineering plans, details, and calculations that are complete, accurate, and consistent with local, state, and federal engineering practices. Work cross functionally with other teams within and outside the engineering department to ensure clients needs and internal deadlines are met. Assist with preparation of design documents for project design including calculations, drawings, and specifications. Manage a team of engineers, designers, to execute structural designs. Stamp 50+ letters per day for structural designs of solar projects. Coordinate structural related issues with electrical design team for solar projects. Provide engineering expertise in the design, analysis, and evaluation of solar projects. Work closely with other team members to ensure successful project completion. Prepare technical reports and documentation to support project designs. Maintain project schedules and be responsible for meeting project deadlines. Communicate effectively cross-organizationally. Continuously improve processes and systems to ensure optimal project outcomes. Qualifications & Experience Licensed structural engineer with strong experience in the design of residential engineering projects, ideally with solar experience but not required. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Professional Engineering (PE) license and willingness to obtain licenses in multiple states is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering. Experience with stamping structural designs for solar projects. Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to solar projects. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
