BAYADA Home Health Care PCA- Personal Care Aide Training Program in Wailuku, Hawaii
WHAT: 40 Hour, Personal Care Aide Training Program
WHERE: 2200 Main St. Wailuku, HI 96753: and on Zoom
WHEN: 3rd week of every month! Monday-Friday and the following Monday (11:30am - 3:30pm) not on weekend
COST: We pay you!
Things you will learn during the PCA Training Program:
Activities of daily living
Light housekeeping
Bathing
Grooming
Toileting
Nail care
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Oral feeding
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance

Qualifications for PCA Training Program:
Two Step TB Test
Pass State Background Test
16 years of age or older
State work permit approved
