Ridgeview Medical Center Supervisor, Volunteer Services & Customer Service in Waconia, Minnesota

This position is responsible for supervising the Customer Service Representatives (Waconia Campus), Gift Shop operations and for recruitment, training and retention of Ridgeview's Volunteer Services programs and volunteers. Job Functions 1. Provides direct supervision of the Customer Service Representative staff, creating a positive first impression and serving as an informational and/or wayfinding resource for patients and other guests at Ridgeview in alignment with Ridgeview's You Matter Here brand promise. 2. Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, placement, scheduling, training, retention, recognition, reporting and education requirements of Ridgeview volunteers. 3. Assures proper screening, competency processes and complete documentation for all volunteers. 4. Maintains effective communication and working relationships with organization's leaders and staff to match needs while maximizing volunteer experiences. 5. Supervises Volunteer Services staff by overseeing the recruiting, selecting, hiring and orienting qualified individuals. Evaluates staff performance in an accurate, consistent, objective and timely manner. Develops a cohesive Volunteer Services department committed to service quality to all customers. 6. Reviews and monitors applicable policies and procedures. As assigned, ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulatory agency standards. 7. Manages Waconia Campus Gift Shop operations. 8. Maintains competencies and/or knowledge in accordance with scope and responsibility of the position. 9. Performs other duties as assigned.
