Ridgeview Medical Center Medical Staff Specialist in Waconia, Minnesota

Purpose of Job This position is responsible for medical staff functions related to hospital/payor credentialing and re-credentialing. Job Functions Coordinates the organization and payor credentialing and re-credentialing process in conjunction with Medical Staff Bylaws, DNV regulatory requirements, payor/insurance requests and policies and procedures for providers. Facilitates verification and application requests from other health care entities. Monitor and verify from primary sources medical staff expirables. Prepares meeting minutes as appropriate for assigned committees. Verifies medical staff status with payors. Updates and maintains the payor credentialing site. Assists with ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation. Performs other duties as assigned.
