Position Summary

Advanced Sheet Metal, as a company within Lochridge-Priest, is locally owned and operated, and is the largest provider of residential and commercial heating and air-conditioning services and commercial plumbing services in Central Texas. With offices in Waco, Temple, and Corsicana and over 400 dedicated employees we’re dedicated to serving your home, business, and industrial comfort needs. We work as a team to deliver best in class service to our customers. This position is responsible for providing top quality production of all types of Heavy Commercial HVAC ductwork in a timely and safe manner. Brand new, state of the art sheet metal shop, running at the correct speed to meet customer needs and company goals.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform quality sheet metal production of all types of HVAC ductwork; round, spiral, square.

  • Work on various machines during the production stages of duct.

  • Wear proper PPE at all times and comply with all safety standards and processes.

  • Identify and report to Management all potential opportunities for additional business.

    Skills

  • Excellent productivity and quality of work product.

  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.

  • One or more years’ experience in a production environment and/or working on equipment or machines.

  • Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.

    Additional Qualifications

  • Work as part of our team to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Valid social security number

  • Must be able to pass drug test(s) as required by company

  • Lift up to 50 pounds; be able to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices)

  • Observe all company procedures and safety rules

  • Maintain accurate time records and send to payroll when required

  • Neat, professional appearance
