Job Description

Job Title: 2nd Shift Production (Manufacturing) Supervisor

Department: Production

Work Schedule: 4:00pm - 12:00am

Job Summary:

The role is designated to direct the workforce of 50 Direct Report Employees on day-to-day operational, safety, and people issues in converting departments. Key accountabilities are; meeting productivity goals by establishing clear goals, providing requisite resources to direct repots, ensuring proper equipment care/maintenance, and engaging the workforce. Effective communication both up and down the organization on key issues and across shifts (e.g. daily crew meetings, performance/1-on-1’s, CSA’s, overtime plans, etc.)

College degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience as a supervisor. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead a team, problem solving ability (TCC/Trouble Cause Correction) and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or other discipline) preferred.

All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must be able to work swing shift and graveyard. Overtime will be required, as necessary, including weekends. Graphic Packaging International operates on a 24 hour, 7 day/week basis.
