ICONMA, LLC Test Technician in United States

In this role, you will work with a team of technician(s) to test, troubleshoot and help to resolve issues on various types of hardware ranging from missile guidance sets, full-up missiles, launch containers, and large wheeled and tracked military vehicles.

  • Tests may involve any manner of variables, including but not limited to pressure, vacuum, load testing, electronic and physical functionality, and hydraulic/pneumatic operations.

  • Processes may include the use of hand tools to maintain test equipment, install missile or vehicle components, and mate/demate electronic contacts and cables.

  • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.

  • Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a technical field OR equivalent experience/combined education.

  • Ability to work in an Explosive environment.

  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using a standard digital multimeter (DMM)

  • Familiarity with advanced test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital power supplies, signal generators, digital multimeters

  • Familiarity with the mate/demate of electrical contacts and connectors

  • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles

    Desired Skills:

  • ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance (US Citizenship is required due to export compliance)

  • Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9000 systems a plus

  • Basic blueprint reading/understanding of schematics a plus

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite a plus
