About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader – F&B Service to join Jumeirah Beach Front Properties. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Brief staff regarding duties before shift starts in their respective domain (Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry, Reservations and Telecommunication) as applicable to your role and as per your department and function to ensure team remains up to date on all directives received from middle or higher management.

  • Responsible for managing stock and inventories, vendors directory, contract agreement where applicable.

  • Responsible for preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filling systems.

  • Report any operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or any irregularities to the Supervisor. Highlight any technical glitches promptly.

  • Ensure familiarization and adherence to compliance with your respective domain policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Responsible for submitting purchase orders. Verifying that the receiving process is managed accordingly to ensure that all expenses fall in their respective expense line, within the right month as per budget.

  • Ensure Duty roasters are compiled and advise on changes as applicable.

  • Ensure all personnel, clients and their guests are greeted and attended to in a professional, efficient, and discreet manner, where applicable.

About you:

  • At least 2-3years of experience, preferably with an international hospitality company

  • Proficient in English.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Micros.

  • Additional language would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of LQA / Forbes standards is preferred.
