POSITION SUMMARY:

The Team Leader leads designated team(s) responsible for the overall production of Mako, Ranger, and Hatteras boats.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Works with production supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.

  • Assesses production needs to plan work assignments.

  • Collaborates with team members to discuss upcoming work assignments; delegates assignments based on team members’ skills and experience.

  • Assists team members with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments.

  • Inspects work performed by team members.

  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Preferred Degree: Former Apprenticeship or associates degree preferred

  • Experience: Preferred one-year industrial manufacturing experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ,AND ABILITY:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to identify issues and to determine problem solving steps that are needed.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports, logs, and inventory.
