The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC’s testing, processing and primary distribution center of blood components. MVRBC is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Staff Accountant.The Staff Accountant is responsible general accounting duties in support of our Finance team specific to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.

As part of the Finance team you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and collaborate with internal departments and leaders to achieve goals and implement strategic initiatives.

Our aim is to provide world-class blood products and services to communities in need. To achieve this, we need passionate, talented, committed professionals to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong demonstrated professional history in an accounting role with focus in AP/AR. An associates degree in Accounting or related field with 2-3 years of experience in accounting is preferred. An equivalent combination of demonstrated work experience and education may be considered.
