Public Partnerships LLC supports individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses and aging adults, to remain in their homes and communities and “self-direct” their own long-term home care. Our role as the nation’s largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Designs information systems solutions to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively.

  • Works closely with development team, subject matter experts and business partners to facilitate software development lifecycle activities including the following:

  • Conducts requirements gathering sessions.

  • Creates artifacts relative to project initiatives.

  • Contributes to work plans and other deliverables.

  • Partners with QA to develop User Acceptance Testing

  • Communicates business challenges to stakeholder and assist in developing solutions.

  • Continuously looks for ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency allowing us to provide a higher quality product in less time.

  • Resolves a wide range of complex and diverse issues in creative ways.

  • Involves in training and oversight of more junior peers.

Required Skills:

  • Strong familiarity with systems development lifecycle

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proven ability to take initiative to move daily work forward.

  • Ability to use sound judgment in completing tasks and to seek guidance when needed.

  • Commitment to exceptional client service

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

6+ years’ experience in software development
